Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 8, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Betancur Studio, a brand operated by Shoptrix LLC, a California limited liability company ("we," "us," "our"), collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit betancurstudio.com (the "Site") or request our services, including our free restaurant audit.
1. Information We Collect
- Information you provide: when you submit a form on the Site we collect your name, restaurant name, phone number, email address, and details about your restaurant (such as type or website).
- Meta lead forms: if you submit a lead form in one of our ads on Facebook or Instagram (Meta Lead Ads), Meta sends us the information you chose to share in that form — typically your name, email address, and phone number. We use it only to respond to your request, as described below, and we store it in a secured cloud database with restricted access.
- Technical information: like most websites, our hosting infrastructure may log basic technical data (such as IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and performance.
- Advertising & analytics: if we use advertising tools (such as the Meta Pixel) they will only run where legally permitted and, where required, with your consent. These tools may collect device and usage information to measure ad performance.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To run and deliver the audit or service you requested.
- To contact you about your request (by phone, email, or messaging).
- To send you relevant follow-up and marketing communications — you can opt out at any time via the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us.
- To improve our Site and services, and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising.
- To comply with legal obligations and protect against fraud or abuse.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate — such as website hosting, data storage, email delivery, and payment processing — under agreements that protect your data, or when required by law.
4. Guest Data We Process for Restaurant Clients
When we deliver our guest-recovery service, we process the contact data of a restaurant's diners on behalf of that restaurant Client, which owns that data. In that role we act as a service provider/processor: we use the guest data only to deliver that Client's service (welcome, win-back, birthday, and review-request messages), we never sell or share it, we never use it for any other restaurant, and we return or delete it on the Client's request. The restaurant Client is responsible for the legal basis to contact its guests.
5. Data Retention
We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above, to comply with legal obligations, or to resolve disputes. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 7).
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take protecting your data seriously.
7. Your Rights & Choices
- You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing us at [email protected].
- You may opt out of marketing communications at any time.
- California residents: you may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and opt out of "sharing" for cross-context advertising. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email above. We do not sell personal information.
8. Cookies & Similar Technologies
The Site may use cookies or similar technologies for functionality, analytics, and (where permitted) advertising measurement. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
9. Children's Privacy
Our Site and services are intended for business owners and managers. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective date" above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
